About Us

We build technology from inside the organisations that run on it.

Gatebreak Technologies Ltd designs, builds, and operates HR, IT, compliance, and connectivity software for organisations — grounded in the day-to-day reality of running workforce, IT, and compliance operations, including inside complex, regulated environments like healthcare.

Our approach

Built by people who have run this infrastructure, not just sold it

Gatebreak was founded to close the gap between generic, off-the-shelf business software and what operationally complex organisations actually need day to day. Rather than starting from a template and adapting it later, we start from the operational reality — rostering that reflects how shifts actually get covered, IT support that understands which issues can wait and which can't, structured documentation that has to code cleanly back into existing systems, and governance that has to survive an audit.

That grounding shapes every product we build: AWS-native infrastructure, UK/EU data residency as standard, and a strong bias toward integrating with the systems your teams already rely on rather than asking them to switch.

What guides our product decisions

  • Data residency and security are non-negotiable starting points, not later add-ons.
  • Staff retain authority over their own workflows — software supports decisions, it doesn't block them.
  • Integration with existing identity and business systems comes before building something new.
  • Every action that matters is logged and auditable, so compliance isn't reconstructed after the fact.
How we operate

A small, focused team building on AWS

We keep the stack lean and the ownership clear, so organisations we work with know exactly what they're running and who's accountable for it.

1

Direct ownership

Gatebreak owns and operates the AWS infrastructure and software behind each product, with a clear line of accountability rather than a chain of subcontractors.

2

UK/EU by default

Infrastructure is deployed in UK/EU AWS regions as a baseline requirement, not a configuration option, across every product we run.

3

Built to integrate

Identity, records, and existing IT systems are treated as things to connect to, not replace outright.
